Would you like to learn about Bees and Beekeeping?

Come to the Croydon apiary where you will be warmly welcomed by enthusiastic apiarists and shown the bees, the hives where the honey, honeycomb and beeswax are made. These marvellous social insects will show you both biodiversity and ecology in action.

We have regular weekly meetings at

2.30pm on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month the last one being held on the 27th September.

from April till September at Hartley Down  near Reedham Station run by our Apiary Manager.

Point to note - if you would really like to keep bees and do not have the space then simply rent a hive plot on which to place your hive and bees from the association at Hartley Down for a modest annual fee (members only).
